Through its globally patented conversion technology, the company creates UBQ™, a bio-based sustainable material made entirely from residual household waste that would otherwise be destined for landfill or incineration. Beyond being an end-of-life waste solution, UBQ increases the use of post-consumer recycled content while facilitating emissions removal and avoidance.

What makes it different

UBQ™, is made entirely of waste (UL2809), in an energy-efficient process, requiring no additional water and producing no effluents, providing an all-encompassing solution. Unlike first- and second-generation bio-based alternatives, which rely on food staples and resource-intensive feedstocks (such as corn and sugarcane), and traditional recycling, which only captures 9% of all plastics, UBQ is a third-generation bio-based, carbon-negative material that is priced competitively with virgin polymers.
