Voltcore's technology can be effectively integrated into the electric vehicle (EV) battery modules and interior surfaces, seats, increasing driving range during the wintertime while giving an unprecedented in-cabin experience.

Description

Voltcore addresses a critical challenge in the electric vehicle (EV) industry: the significant reduction in driving range and energy efficiency during cold weather conditions. Traditional heating systems in EVs consume substantial amounts of battery power to maintain comfortable cabin temperatures and ensure optimal battery performance, which can drastically reduce the vehicle's range.

By developing and scaling the technology of heated polymer filaments, Voltcore provides uni-directional heating solutions that are more energy-efficient compared to conventional methods. This technology can be seamlessly integrated into EV battery modules and interior surfaces, such as seats, to provide targeted heating. As a result, Voltcore's solutions help to:

What makes it different

Our solution is considered to be energy-efficient, with a recommended placement and use of oriented heating phenomena, we can deliver to the target up to 85-95% of the energy spent. For example in comparison with the copper-alloy with silicon pads installed deeply into the car seat, where the heat dissipates into the foam, our solution is intalled into the outer layer and can deliver heat to the target.

Our products not only reduce C02 emissions but can be produced with more than 75% of recycled polymers used and be fully upcycled afterwards.

The technology is naturally safe as the circuit will be naturally broken as the temperature goes higher 130C

Because use of infrared spectrum waves our products can gain +1C in less than two seconds giving an unprecedented speed and user experience

Our ultra-thin filament weighs only 30-60g per km. We use a light textile design and less than 150µm thick lamination to bring the weight of less than 20g for our battery heaters and less than 90g for seat heaters.
