Daika gives a solution to the huge amounts of unutilized wood waste streams by offering a sustainable alternative to wood and plastics.
Daika has developed a new material which is 100% natural. The material is composed from natural materials (no petroleum-based materials) and all types of wood waste. We are a fully natural solution (appearances and materials) as opposed to most “sustainable” plastics solutions (bio-plastics, WPC etc) which look, feel and degrade as plastics.

What makes it different

Daika uses ALL wood waste streams that currently dont have any good solution (A2 etc) and cannot be burnt for energy or used for feedstock due to the existing contaminants. As opposed to most plastics solutions (bio-plastics, WPC etc) Daika does not contain any plastics nor needs elevated energy (tmp & pressure) for melting. The process and material allows obtaining customized physical properties (acoustics, thermal, appearances) and shapes (out-of-plane) as well as fully recyclable.
