"Building envelopes, or facades, are one of the keys to modern building. They are responsible for 70% of its energy efficiency as the barrier between interior/ exterior and for the architectural appeal of the building.
They are also one of the most complex and underserved areas of construction, comprising of manual labor, generic shelf products and as a result- repetitive cubes with no added value.
It can currently take up to a year of panning process to design good facades and advanced fabrication options are very limited."
